Troops can enjoy a fun getaway program through our community partners! There are a variety of activities and events tailored to Girl Scouts of all interests. Please contact our partners individually for more information about the programs they offer.

If you know of a business who may be interested in becoming a GSNWGL community partner, please direct them to your community development staff member.

Action City

Metropolis Resort is the only venue in western Wisconsin that features extreme family fun under one roof. Part family fun center, part indoor water park and park designer hotel and conference center, this is your next year-round destination. Action City Family Fun Center, located inside the Metropolis Resort, has more than 100 of the most popular video and ticket arcade games. It’s home to fast-paced attractions including: a climbing wall, batting cages, laser tag, bumper cars, outdoor maze, 18 holes of mini golf and an indoor and outdoor go-kart track. Action City is the perfect venue for your troop!

Adventures in Teambuilding

Challenge yourself on high and low ropes courses while learning about trust, respect, support, communication, leadership, bullying, and more.

Choose from a variety of one-hour naturalist-led programs. What a great way to complete activities for naturalist badges!

Badge Workshop- Eau Claire

Earn any of the following badges: Storytelling, Craft, Investigation, Adventure, Creative Play, Innovation, Manners, Girl Scout Way (special occasions only), Citizen (Brownie troops who attend July 4th celebration at CVM- no cost!), or Make Your Own.

Badge Workshop- Stevens Point

Daisies can work toward their Courageous & Strong, Use Resources Wisely, or Make the World a Better Place petals. Brownies can earn their Bugs, Home Scientist, or Snacks badge. Juniors can earn their Detective, Flowers, or Staying Fit badge. Play days and sibling play during badge workshops can be arranged for $3/girl and $3/sibling.

Complete age-appropriate activities regarding breast health and breast cancer. Upon completion of this program, you will have fulfilled requirements for GSNWGL’s Breast Cancer Awareness patch program.

Caddie Woodlawn Participation Patch

Explore pioneer life in late 1850s Wisconsin with Caddie, the heroine of Carol Ryrie Brink’s Newberry Award-winning book Caddie Woodlawn. Orientation at Rassbach Museum is followed by a historian-guided tour through her home. Participants receive the book and a history map, view a video, and dress up in era clothing.

Echo Lake Environmental Excursions

Andrea Dunham; Echo Lake Preserve Assistant with The Nature Conservancy of Marquette, MI will work with your troop or group to create an environmental learning experience to suit your needs, from May until the snow falls.  Echo Lake is just north of Marquette on Hwy 550. Groups meet at the Moosewood Nature Center and carpool or caravan to the site, as parking is limited. It’s a minimum ½ mile hike to get to the lake.  There are two miles of established trails to either an overlook or a rocky peninsula.  Hikes and programs can be designed for the grade levels you are working with. Longer off-trail hikes can be arranged based on interest and ability.  Volunteer opportunities include stream restoration and invasive species pull days based on the weather.  There is no charge.  You can learn more about The Nature Conservancy at www.nature.org

Take a guided tour of a beautiful garden and participate in outdoor activities to learn more about plants, animals, and the great outdoors. Programs can be tailored to fulfill badge requirements.

Golf at First Tee

Former LPGA tour player and First Tee Coach Julie Pyne will instruct you through a fast-paced 90 minutes of golf using a variety of activities and equipment. Learn to swing, chip, put, and even ettiquette and important life skills.

Kay-Zip Camping Adventures

Camp, kayak, zip line, and work together as a team! Can’t camp? Take the Kay-Zip Tour and paddle through beautiful caves at Cave Point County Park and traverse Door County’s beautiful terrain on zip lines. An unforgettable adventure for girls of all ages!

Kids on the Move

Exciting programming for girls through age 12, including dance (hip hop, tap, jazz, and ballet), special needs dance, theater, and children’s choir. Summer program (June-August) runs three months, and the fall through spring program (September-May) runs eight months.

Lambeau Field Patch Program

Tour legendary Lambeau Field and the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame and participate in a scavenger hunt! At the end fo the program, you’ll receive a Green Bay Packers patch for your uniform.
