Ceremonies help Girl Scouts mark special events throughout the year.  Ceremonies can commemorate accomplishments or simply make the beginning or end of a group's meeting special. An investiture ceremony welcomes girls to Girl Scouting and a Rededication ceremony welcomes girls back to Girl Scouting.  These ceremonies make the start of the troop year special for the girls.  See the link below for more information about Girl Scout traditions and ceremonies and use this packet to plan your investiture/rededication ceremony.
